After the parade, the celebrations continue at Brown Street Park. Starting at 1:00PM, a ceremony commemorating the borough 150th Anniversary will take place. Representative from local, state and the federal government will be on hand to share their remarks.
Immediately following the ceremony will be the opening of the 1967 time capsule. Contents of the time capsule will be put on display for the afternoon.
The rest of the afternoon will include music provided by Mr. Mody and Phoenix N2O. A beer garden by Tuned Up Brewing and food trucks will be on hand, as well as vendors.
A bounce house and slip and slide will be on location as well.
At darkness, a fireworks display produced by the International Fireworks Company will fill the sky. The fireworks will be launched from the Spring-Ford Youth Athletic Fields and can be viewed at Brown Street Park.
